Live Wedding Band - The Plough Inn, Hildenborough, Kent - 2nd June 2012
'After much searching for a suitable band to play at our wedding, we came across the Rockpins. They appeared to offer a perfect mix of good quality musicianship, a well judged set list and a reasonable price. When the day came, they didn't disappoint. They arrived and set up with a minimum of fuss, before breaking into the first of two brilliant sets. Despite being 'only' a 3 piece, the Rockpins managed to emulate perfectly the sound of various pop and rock bands from across 5 decades. The set list offered something for pretty much everyone - no mean feat - and kept the dance floor busier than I have seen at most weddings. Throughout the evening and subsequently we received compliments on our choice of band from many guests, all of whom were as impressed as we were. We really couldn't have been happier with the entertainment that The Rockpins provided, and were left wishing that we could find an excuse to book them again! Thanks for a great evening guys!' Their setlist is truly amazing and they even let me sing my favourite song 'Live Forever' as the penultimate song before they ended with 'Hey Jude' which had every single one of the 150 guests singing along too.
