About The RockPins - Wedding Band / Party Band - London, Kent and the south east of England

The RockPins - wedding & party band are a 3 piece professional 'power trio' based in London. We play weddings / parties / functions and corporate gigs mainly in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Essex. That said we’ll go wherever we’re needed, within reason. All the guys in the band sing with Matt taking care of lead vocals. Jon is the guitarist and backing vocalist, and Nick is our timekeeper who also takes care of some backing vocals.

We play a wide range of music from sixties classic pop and rock to current rock, pop and indie hits as well as some cheese, perfect for your wedding or party! We use a high end, powerful PA system and a range of stage and dancefloor lighting, so we can work in pretty much any venue as a self-contained unit. We can also provide a DJ service before we play and during any intervals.

One of the things we think separates us from a lot of working bands is our musicianship and our diverse setlist. Matt and Jon are trained singers and Jon is a music graduate, specialising in guitar performance. The whole band have played in all sorts of groups, ranging from rock acts, through choirs, musical theatre, duos and jazz bands, to funk and soul bands. Because we’re all flexible musicians we’re able to cover a wide range of music, but at the same time we manage to maintain a sense of continuity in our sets and are focused on rock and pop music – it’s what we all love! We get a kick out of playing together and genuinely enjoy all of our gigs, particularly weddings. So when you book us, you’re guaranteed a happy, vibrant band, whose mission is to entertain you!
